Beni Bouzra, Chefchaouen Province, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Region, Morocco - Morocco has recently offered a nice variety of elbaite crystals on matrix. Here we have a specimen hosting several red elbaites, var rubellite. The main one is terminated and 1.4 cm in size ! all around there are several other elbaites and some of them are terminated or some other recrystallized. Nice quartz points also, up to 1.5-2 cm in size and biterminated. There is hyalite coating on some crystals. Overall size is 5.8x3.5x3.5 cm. Weight is 80 gr.

Goboboseb Mountains, Brandberg Area, Erongo, Namibia - Very nice and well defined amethyst quartz shepter ! The amethys crystal has a nice color. It is biterminated and sits on a smoky quartz ! There are an other couple of quartz crystals at the base. The full length of the shepter is 4.7 cm and the amethyst is 2,8 cm in size. Overall size of the rock is  5.5x3x3 cm. Weight is 35 gr.

N'Chwaning mines, Northern Cape, South Africa - Prismatic crystals of sturmanite to 1.2 cm in length set nicely up on matrix. One crystal shows damage, this still very nice for the species. Originally obtained through collector Bill Pinch in the early 1980s. Overall size is 6.0 x 6.0 x 0.5 cm. Ex Stan Woollams collection

HOOSY, MADAGASCAR - An esthetic violet corundum biterminated and quite large ! The crystal is 1.8-1.5 cm in size and shows greatly on the scist matrix. Very nice display ! Overall size is 4.5x2.7x2.5 cm. Weight is 40 gr.

Luishia Mine, Kambove, Haut-Katanga, DR Congo - A nice bright green mass of wonderful malachite in a flowing bubbly display. A few minor scratches and tiny hairline crack but a very tactile specimen. Overall size is 6.1 × 7.1 × 2.9 cm. Weight is 200 gr.

Erongo Mountains, Karibib, Erongo Region, Namibia - A single perfect striated blue aquamarine crystal shows up on a small mass of small irregular orthoclase crystals. The exposed crystal measures to 4 cm in size !! Great color and very fine specimen from this well known locality. This specimen has been collcrted in 1996. Overall size is 4 × 3.1 × 2.4 cm. Weight is 42 gr

25Bou Azzer, Souss-Massa-Draâ Region, Morocco - A more unusual specimen of Moroccan erythrite featuring isolated crystals on a back ground of quartzite matrix. The erythrites show a great color and the crystals are up to 1.4 cm ! Overall size is 4.8x3.2x1.6 cm.

Mibladen, Midelt Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco - A bright deep red coverage of vanadinite crystals to the size of 0.5 cm in diameter ! Nice classic specimen from Morocco. Overall size is 6x4x3.2 cm.

HOOSY, MADAGASCAR - A very nice biterminated corundom on scist matrix ! The crystal is 2.3 cm long and 1.6 cm wide ! Great red/violet color. Very esthetic ! Overall size is 3x2.7x1.8 cm

Tsumeb Mine, Otavi Highlands, Namibia - A small flat matrix with myriad crystals of smithsonite with misty flat stepped faces, and more brightly lustrous modified terminations. To the outside the smithsonite  is very pale pink some with a yellowish sheen. Inside the smithsonite is colourless also with some yellow discolouration and inclusions. Overall size is 4.5 × 3.2 × 1.5 cm
