Colonnata quarry, Apuane Alps, Carrara, Italy - This marble specimen hosts a cluster of terminated deep brown/red sphalerite crystals of 0.4 cm nicely nested in an open cavity. The cluster shows nicely on the white marble. Overall size is 4x3.5x2 cm.
