San Piero, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - A classic specimen from the pegmatite areas of San Piero.This specimen has an open cavity with a some large orthoclase crystals up to almopst 3 cm on the edge. All around there are quartz crystals and a number of terminated schorl crystals to the size of 0.5 cm. The specimen is very representative of the pockets that can be found in the pegmatites areas of San Piero ! overall size is 13x9.5x5.5 cm.

Erongo Mountains, Karibib, Erongo Region, Namibia - A single perfect striated blue aquamarine crystal shows up on a small mass of small irregular orthoclase crystals. The exposed crystal measures to 4 cm in size !! Great color and very fine specimen from this well known locality. This specimen has been collcrted in 1996. Overall size is 4 × 3.1 × 2.4 cm. Baia Sprie Mine, Baia Sprie, Romania - A sulphide covered matrix with abundant chalcopyrite sphalerite and galena has a pair of black wolframite crystals on top, with two generations of calcite covering. The main crystal is 1.2 cm in size. Woframite was found along with scheelite in the late 1990s - this is quite typical of the habit. The crystals are not that well terminated. Overall size is 5.5x3x2 cm.

ZOGNO MINE, VAL BREMBANA, BERGAMO, ITALY - This mine is very famous for the well shaped violet fluorite cubes that produced in the past. Now the mine is closed. This specimen is from an old collection. The specimen hosts violet fluorite cube of fluorite of 1 cm on the edge and has etching on one corner on the back. The fluorite sits on a carpet of tint waterclear quartz crystals. Overall size is 9x5.5x3.5 cm. Weight is 200 gr.

POLLONE MINE, LUCCA, ITALY - A classic from this famous Italian mine. The specimen is composed by crystalline quartx matrix with a well exposed terminated lightly smoky quartz crystal up to 2.7 cm in size. There are some other smaller quartzes with some sulfides coating on some faces. There is also a well defined and terminated white baryte crystal of 1.5 cm in size. Overall size is 6.5x5x4 cm.
