San Piero, Isola Elba, Livorno, Italy - There are almost a dozen elbaites on this rock ! They show a classic brown color with a lighter top, almost transparent in some of them. Their size is up to 0.8 cm. Very nice specimen of 4.5x3x2 cm in size

SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, LIVORNO, ITALY - This specimen hosts some waterclear quartz crystals with several terminated schorl crystals perched on them and among them ! The schorl are half a dozen, terminated and are up to 0.5 cm in size. There is also a beryl var. goshenite on the back of the specimen. Schorl and beryl is a frequent combination at the San Piero area. Overall size is 4.5x4.5x3.5 cm
